The Deuce... phase two.

So my red bike is in phase two of its transformation. When I first got it it was navy blue and white, dirty and rusted. I wiped it off and painted the navy parts red. This was phase one... I've been riding the bike on phase one for well over a month now.

Tonight marked phase two, which brings me much closer to my original idea. I painted the chainguard and fenders a matte black (in the dark... it needs a touch up) and I painted all the metallic parts (spokes, rims, handlebars etc) gold. Even with the paint messiness, it looks a lot cooler... I mean, the bike is pretty rusty and paint covers all that, so it looks comparitively swank.

I also painted a bunch of plastic flowers silver to stick on the handlebars... it's going to be gorgeous. Phase two occured in the chilly climes of Thoms porch. I then rode the bike to the Trash to enjoy the sweet sweet metal sounds of Xecution. (more on that later)

Phase three will be exciting... and it will take some planning. The sky's the limit with a cheap red bike.
