I'm definitely going to update this thing more often.
Currently: wasting time in the library, was reading Noah's blog and figured it was time to work on mine. I want to figure out how to make it all cool and black without having to pay for anything. Ahhhh the dilemma.
on an interesting note... I was cleaning my room the other day, I don't EVER throw out paper, so cleaning out desk drawers is an event... so in the middle of throwing out piles of grade eight science notes I ran across a letter on KYFC letterhead. It was a letter I had written to myself maybe two months after becoming Christian, it was a part of The Underground biblestudy that I was a part of for a couple of years, we had to write ourselves a letter of encouragement, a reminder to pay attention to the things we neglect doing, and the Bridge would mail it to us at a later point. So I sat on my floor and read this two year old letter to myself. It went something like this:
Dear Meaghan,
I hope everything is going well. I know that you get busy with school and clubs and everything else you do, but remember to take time in the middle of all that to spend time with God. Reading the bible is better than reading any other book and you know it, so make time. You wont regret it at all, it's time well spent.
I was floored, I've been really busy and have definitely not been spending enough time with God of late. I think I'm going to listen to this letter. I'm hanging on to it too.
